Kenneth R. Martin, D.M.D.
Dr. Martin grew up in Kentucky in the town of Estill, in
Floyd County. Having finished second in his high school graduating class,
he was offered an academic scholarship to attend
Morehead State
University but, chose instead to accept an athletic scholarship to play
basketball at Presbyterian College in Clinton, South Carolina. In 1968 he
graduated with a BS degree in biology. In 1969, Dr. Martin married his
lovely wife, Sandy and began his studies at the University of Kentucky College
of Dentistry in Lexington, Kentucky. In 1973 he graduated with honors and
served two years in the United States Army Dental Corps before moving to
Cookeville.
Dr. Martin and his wife, Sandy, have three grown sons,
Jamie, Scott and Todd.
Dr. Martin enjoys gardening, landscaping, photography, and sports - especially
University of Kentucky basketball. Sandy enjoys homemaking, scrapbooking,
and chasing after their little grandson, Ian.
Dr. Martin and his family attend Stevens Street Baptist
Church in Cookeville.
Dr. Stephen D. Graham
The Family Dentistry Group in Cookeville is proud to announce that Dr. Stephen D. Graham is joining our practice. Dr. Graham brings over 20 years of practice experience. He is the epitome of our mission statement - "Providing Gentle Dental Care with a Servant's Heart".
Dr. Graham was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee, where in high school he enjoyed playing acoustic guitar, science and competing in athletics. After graduating from Memphis University School he attended the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, graduating in 1979 with a bachelor's degree in biology. He then went on to attend The University of Tennessee College of Dentistry in Memphis. His classmates elected him American Student Dental Association class representative and president of the Christian Dental Fellowship. Upon graduating in 1983 he enjoyed going on dental mission trips to Central and South America as well as his private practice in Chattanooga.
He married his lovely wife, Barbie, in 1987. They have three adult children: Amy, Stephen and Abigail. Dr. Graham enjoys sports, acoustic guitar, dental missions and is on the board of "Doctors At War", fighting the atrocities of human trafficking.
